This is part of the three family set of flashcards  for regular past tense verbs.   I divided the verbs into  three “families”  to help kids to remember them little better.

-Family 1:   regular verbs that and in a voiceless consonant and the ‘ed’  sounds like a ‘t’

-Family 2:   regular verbs that and in a voiced consonant and the ‘ed’  sounds like a ‘d’

-Family 3:   regular verbs that and in ‘t’ or ‘d’ and the ‘ed’  sounds like a ‘ed’

For each ”family,”  there are two sets of flashcards.   One set is for practicing the present tense version of the verb. and one is for practicing the past tense version of the verb. I formatted the flashcards so that you can print them front to back (i.e.  duplexed) with present tense on one side and past tense on the other side.   Or you can just print them as two separate sets of cards.

You can find all the sets by putting “ Reg Past-sounds like “ into the Sharing Center Search box.

You can also use these cards to work on present tense subject-verb agreement.
