Welcome Back to School I am going back to school soon. School has been closed for a long time because of the coronavirus. I have been doing my lessons at home. When I go back to school my classroom and school entrance will look a little different. That is okay. The nurse will greet me at the school entrance. The nurse will take my temperature. She will point the thermometer towards my head to make sure I don't have a fever. If I am sick or have a fever I will go home. My teachers will make sure I am safe from the virus. My teachers will wear masks. That is okay. Some of my teachers and therapists will wear face shields and masks. This is okay. They are protecting me from germs. Everyone will make sure they sit and stand 6 feet apart. This will help keep germs away. I will have my own school supplies. They will be washed after I use them. My therapists will pick me up at the door of my classroom. This is okay and safe. People will use hand sanitizer and wash their hands often to keep germs away. We will not sit next to each other in large groups. That is okay. Sometimes I will sit in my own space while I am learning. My teachers will still be helping me. my teacher will make sure that we are safe and sitting 6 feet apart. I am happy to go back to school. I will see you soon!
