How to be a Friend At school there are lots of friends to talk to and share stories with. When we talk to friends we take turns and share ideas. I can show my friends I'm listening by being quiet. When I look at a friends face they know I am paying attention to them. good. We take turns talking. When I have an idea inside my head I can share that with my friend. When my friend is done with their idea I can share my thoughts too! I can wait for a pause and then I can say "excuse me" or "I want to tell you about an idea" I can also ask my friends questions about what they like. Sometimes friends want to talk about the same thing. Sometimes friends want to talk about different things. It is okay to share a different idea when your friend is done talking. Talking to our friends is fun! Your friends want to hear your thoughts. We can be friends when we share our ideas and listen to each other too!
