Making a Smoothie

This material, titled 'Making a Smoothie' was used following a sequencing activity for making gingerbread cookies. The students needed a few visual cues to re-tell others what we did in communication class.

Making a Smoothie We wanted to make a smoothie. We always add the liquids first. The solids come next. Banana is one of the solids. Strawberries are solid items. The flavoring comes last. We used switches to blend up the ingredients. Pineapple is one of the options for solids. Orange juice was one of the liquid options. Chocolate syrup adds extra flavor. Our server poured the finished smoothie for everyone to taste. Anyone could ask for more. We shared the product until it was gone. What a great activity!
