Solar Eclipse Day Many planets moons and stars surround the earth. This is a moon. This is a sun. On April 8th the moon will move in front of the sun. This is called a solar eclipse! The moon will block the sun for 2 minutes. The day will get dark. You need special sunglasses to look up at the sun. If you look at the sun without wearing the sunglasses you could hurt your eyes. Ouch! There's no need to be scared when it gets dark. Your teachers are here to keep you safe. The sun will come out again at 4:00pm.
