Anxiety What is Anxiety and what to do for it? Everyone has worries and is afraid of something. Sometimes we worry about our family. Other times we worry about what other people think of us. Sometimes we get scared of what might happen to our families when we are not around. Sometimes these feelings turn into Anxiety which can effect the body and even make us sick. Anxiety can make our stomach upset or make it feel like it's full of bubbles. Anxiety can make our hands and even our whole body shake. Anxiety can make our heart beat fast and even feel like it's pounding in our chest. Anxiety can also make us sweat even when it's not hot around us. When we feel this way we can help ourselves by talking about what we are worried or scared about. We can call a friend or family member for support to help with our Anxiety. We can listen to music we can dance our Anxiety and worry away. We can even take a nap to help with our Anxiety. Sometimes we need the support of others to help us calm down. It's okay to ask for help. Whatever we do we need to remember to try to be kind to the people around us because they are there to help. When we communicate with staff and are kind to them they are extra proud of us. Also when we can calm our Anxiety down ourselves we are proud of us.
