Playing Outside Playing Outside in the Wind I like to run and play outside. I like birds trees and grass and jumping on my trampoline. When I am on the playground I can Run swing climb and have fun. I need to stay by my Mom dad teacher or babysitter. my mom or babysitter needs to be able to see me while I play. Sometimes there are fun things to do that are not by my Mom If I want to go somewhere I need to ask my Mom When my Mom or babysitter calls my name I come back. or babysitter help to keep me safe. outside the weather changes a lot. Sometimes it rains. Sometimes it is sunny. Sometimes it snows. Sometimes it is a little windy or very windy. If it is a windy day that is OK. I can stay calm. Wind is just air moving around. I can put on my special hugging vest when it is windy. I can chew on something in my mouth when it is windy. I can cover my ears and count to 10. I can ask Mom for a hug. I can have Mom set a timer for how long I can play outside. I do not need to be scared of the wind. I can stay calm and happy. If I feel scared about the weather I can talk to Mom and Dad. If I hear or see the wind blowing that is OK. . The wind will stop soon.
