Riding the Bus: Using My Quiet Voice every day I ride the bus to school. Riding the bus is fun! When I am on the bus I sit in my seat. The bus driver is driving us safely to school. Sometimes I feel excited or want to talk. That’s okay! But I need to remember to use a quiet voice. When I use a loud voice it can distract the bus driver. The bus driver might have to stop the bus and remind me to be quiet. I can help the bus driver by using my quiet voice. A quiet voice is like my inside voice—soft and calm. If I want to talk to my friends I can use my quiet voice so the driver can stay focused. When I use my quiet voice the bus ride is peaceful Everyone Feels Happy I can practice using my quiet voice on the bus every day. My bus driver will notice and feel proud of me! I am a great helper when I use my quiet voice on the bus. I can do it!
