Talk about Book stop Amazing/Wow more you my book Tell me spell Professional Learning

Use with students or for a professional learning experience to practice using a low tech eye gaze system. This board is set up for a conversation about books, and will have more opportunities for communication with a speller. As a professional learning experience, provide one 2 sided board for every 2 people and ask them to talk about a book they have read recently. The goal of this activity is not to necessarily have a conversation with robust vocabulary, as this is a limited set of words, but to experience how having an eye gaze system with a mirror image set of words for the communication partner enhances a communicative exchange. This is also a great way to simply practice how to read and respond to a low tech eye gaze communicators eye gaze interactions. Tip for spelling: Slowly recite the alphabet, waiting for yes response from the AAC user to indicate the letter chosen.
