What is Your Favorite? Conversation Starter What is your favorite? What is your favorite Color? red blue green or ice cream? strawberry vanilla chocolate toy? doll blocks playdough Pet? dog fish cat

Cut each page in half: making a board with 6 pictures. Each board asks a question and has 3 possible answers. "What is your favorite color? Red, Blue, Green".

During snack or small group, I use the visual as a conversation starter. Some kids in the group can "read" the question to a peer. Children who are nonverbal or shy may point to the pictures to answer the question, while others may elaborate or choose answers not shown.

Pairs well with a core board.
