Learning about feeling angry Learning about anger Sometimes we feel really angry When we feel angry we might want to yell hit Be Alone It is Ok to feel angry People feel angry for lots of different reasons Like not getting their way or having an argument Or having to share their things or someone taking their things Or having to wait and do as they are told There are lots of different reasons people get angry. Do you know what things make you angry? There are also lots of different things that people can do to calm down when they are angry Some people colour in or draw Some people run or do star jumps Some people do stretches Some people take deep breathes Some people talk to their parents or their teacher Some people go and play outside It is important for everyone to find things they can do when they are angry to help them to calm down. What are some things you can do to calm down when you are angry? You can be a detective and find out what makes you angry and what helps calm you down. It is ok to feel angry but it is also important to know why you feel angry and to know what things you can do to calm down
