My Snowy Day My mother told me it might snow! She tucked me into bed and said "We'll have to see tomorrow!" When i woke up I hurried to look out the window. Wow! It was snowing! It snowed some more. Mom helped me put on my coat. Then my mittens. When we went outside it sure was cold! I saw icicles! We went sliding in the snow. Mom showed me how to wave my arms in the snow. It looked like an angel. I made snowballs and threw them. We made a snowman. The trees had snow and ice on the branches! After a while Mom said "Come inside and let's have something warm to eat and drink." We ate pancakes! We drank hot chocolate. My snow day was fun!
