Question Cards for Bug by Robin Koontz How is the girl named BUG like a real bug? She is scared of bugs. She is little and fast. She is strong and bites. Why was Bug called Bug? Because it's her real name People made fun of her She loves every winging singing crawling... bug! What does Bug like to do? play soccer Draw bugs Do math problems Math Problems read a book Eat Broccoli What did Bug do when Mrs. Muskie talked to the class about math? eat her lunch Listen very nicely doodled bugs and stared out the window What was Mrs. Muskie's big announcement? They are having pizza for lunch! If everyone does well on the test they will go to the museum. They can go look for bugs in the field. What did Bug do when Mrs. Muskie made the announcement? smile hide frown Who is Bug's friend? Jasper Mr. Muskie Mrs. Muskie Why does Bug have to pass the big test? She wants to do math in the field with bugs. She wants to go to the bug room at the museum. Because she would get in trouble Bug drew a butterfly with 3 spots on each wing. How many spots did it have in all? 20 ants carried seeds. 6 ants dropped their seeds. how many ants are left carrying seeds? bug drew 4 crickets and then drew 3 more. how many crickets did bug draw? why did bug put crickets in her lunchbox? She wants to eat them So she can look at them with a magnifying glass For good luck How did Bug solve the math problems on the big test? She drew bugs. Bugs make math easy. She used a calculator. She thought about the problem in her head. What did bug open when she got to the bonus question? The classroom door The window to see some bugs A lunch box full of crickets What happened after Mrs. Muskie picked up the test paper? she dropped the paper. The crickets leaped into her hair. Bug ran out of the classroom to find bugs. Where did the class go when Mrs. Muskie had crickets in her hair? outside To the Bathroom home How did Bug do on the big math test? she did very good work. She did okay. she failed the test! Where did the class go a week after the big math test? Back to school because the crickets were cleared out The science museum To the field to find more crickets why do you think mrs. muskie wore a hat to the museum? to disguise herself To keep the sun out of her eyes So no more bugs would get in her hair
