Benoit's Bus Ride Book Riding Safely on the Bus There are rules at home and school. There are rules on the bus. I need to follow the rules to be safe on the bus. I ride the bus from home to school and take the bus from school back home at the end of the day. The school bus driver's name is Jeff. They drive me to school and home after school. There are rules to follow on the bus. When I ride the bus I sit in my seat and put my backpack beside me. I will face the front. I will be safe on the bus and will try to remember to stay in my seat. Sometimes it can get loud on the bus. I will try to stay calm. I will be safe and not shout. There is no swearing allowed on the bus. I will follow the rules. I will not ask about coffee. I can ask "what did you do last night?" or "How are you doing?" I will remember to keep my hands to myself even if I am frustrated. I will try to ignore kids if they are bugging me. I will try and stay in the Green Zone. It is a short bus ride and I can SIT calmly and stay safe the whole time. Someone will meet me at the bus when I get to school. I will try to have a good bus ride to and from school everyday. New Title
