I have been working with children with special needs since I was 16 years old. I graduated with My BS in special ed in 1987 and my masters in 2003. I have held certificates in MA, NH and now FL. I have worked with students from newborn through 8th grade. I taught prek and K (inclusion classrooms) in NH for 19 years before spending 5 years in an Early Intervention Program. My husband and I moved to FL 5 years ago. I teach in a Head Start/ESE PK. Social stories, Do/Do NOT, First/then and visual schedules help students feel secure and learn and grown.
