Bookmarks Enhance Literacy Comprehension

Bookmarks can be created with visual supports to help young readers. Pictures on a bookmark can provide:

  • Reading strategies cues
  • Specific Learning activities
  • Questions to think about
  • Retelling / summarizing
  • Important ideas woth noting

Students may write on the bookmarks to take notes or answer specific questions. These bookmarks can be color-coded behind each picture for specific purpose or organization.

To support a child with their literacy comprehension, create custom visual cues on bookmarks with LessonPix.

This template has 5 bookmarks per page and 1 to 3 pictures per bookmark.
